The start-up and shutdown of Weichai diesel generator sets can be divided into two forms: manual testing and automatic switching control.
1、 Manual commissioning of Weichai diesel generator set
1. Manual start of diesel generator set: It is necessary to test the alarm system for normal operation first, and then switch the control switch to the manual (MAN) position. The diesel generator set can start on its own.
2. Weichai diesel generator set shutdown: Turn the control switch to the STOP position or press the red emergency stop button to stop the generator operation. In emergency situations, the emergency stop button can be pressed directly to force the machine to stop. If the red emergency stop button is pressed, it must be reset to its original position, otherwise the generator will not be able to start.
2、 Automatic Switching Control of Weichai Diesel Generator Set
1. Switch the control switch to AUTO and use it in conjunction with the power automatic switching switch (ATS). The control switch must also be in the automatic position. When the mains power stops, the ATS will send a start signal to the generator control system, and the generator will automatically start.
2. When the control switch of the Weichai diesel generator set is switched to STOP or remains in automatic mode, but the power has been restored, the ATS will send a stop signal and the diesel generator set will automatically stop. Attention: When the diesel generator set in operation automatically shuts down due to faults (such as speed, high water temperature, low oil pressure, etc.), the fault reset button must be pressed after troubleshooting to prepare for restarting.
