The working conditions of the power plant (unit) specified in the standard are mainly determined by the altitude, environmental temperature, relative humidity, presence of mold, salt mist, and inclination of the diesel generator set. According to GB2819, the power station should be able to output rated power and operate reliably under the following conditions.
Class I power station: altitude of lOOOm, ambient temperature of 40 ℃, relative humidity of 60%;
Class II power station: altitude of Om, ambient temperature of 20 ℃, relative humidity of 60%.

The power station can operate reliably under the following conditions, that is, the altitude does not exceed 4000m, and the upper and lower limits of environmental temperature are: the upper limit values of Shaanxi diesel generator set are 40 ℃ and 45 ℃; The lower limit values are 5 ℃, -25 ℃, -40 ℃. The relative humidity is 60%, 90%, and 95%, respectively.

The diesel generator set can operate normally in the following natural environments:
(1) The ambient air temperature is O ℃~+40 ℃;
(2) The altitude does not exceed lOOOm;
(3) The relative humidity of the air shall not exceed 95% (at a temperature of+25 ℃);

For ordinary units, the ambient temperature should not be lower than O ℃, otherwise corresponding low-temperature starting measures should be taken; For automated units, the ambient temperature used should not be lower than+15 ℃, otherwise warm up measures should be taken.

Normally, it is specified that the altitude used by the unit should not exceed 1000 meters, but a reduction in output power is allowed. When requested by users, Meihua diesel generator sets can be provided with damp heat type units. The rated power of the unit refers to the continuous operating power for 12 hours under standard environmental conditions (atmospheric pressure, relative temperature, ambient temperature) (with an overload of 10% allowed for 1 hour). When the unit is continuously used for more than 12 hours, its output power shall be the electrical power corrected by 90% of the rated power of the diesel engine, but this electrical power shall not exceed the rated power of the unit.
